How does ubidNship works for Transportation Service Providers:
ubidNship was designed to be easy to use. From the main page, TSPs can filter for the shipping categories they specialize in servicing. They can pick and chose the listing that best suits them from amongst many listings. Each listing has a detailed description of the item the customer needing to ship, pick up/drop off destinations and any important specifications. In short, the listings likely will have most, if not all the information needed for the TSP about the jobs to help him/her make an informed decision prior to submitting a bid on it. But most important, the listing will have the date and time when the live bidding begins as scheduled by the customer.
There are two ways the TSP can bid on a lsiting. These can be used simultaneously. Rather, we strongly recommend that you use them that way. To bid on a listing, the TSP must register for the listing first. Doing so will notify the customer that a specific TSP is interested in taking the job. Upon registering for a listing, you and your company get introduced to the customer. The customer will be able to review your profile, your shipping credential and learn about your company. To register for a listing, simply click on the listing title. Scroll down and click on the live bidding button and then click on "RSVP" button. You will receive and email confirmation that you are now registered to bid on this particular listing, which will allow you to enter the live bidding session when it starts at the date and time set by the customer. If you are not able to attend the Live Auction, you will have the option to enter a bid on the spot. If you do decide to bid Immediately, Your bid will be sent to the customer and will appear on the listing. Also, your bid get listed on the Live Auction's Screen. We do however strongly recommend that you attend. There will be Multi-bidders that will compete live. Also, you will have the ability to chat live with your potential customer.
ubidNship makes it convenient for you to communicate with your potential customers. But, please avoid violation. We urge you that you review ubidNship’s Users Agreement communication rules. You can ask your customers questions. On a listing main page, simply scroll down and click the “Question” tab. Your question will be emailed to the customer. His/her reply will be emailed back to you and will appear on the listing. Another form of communication will be activated during the Live Bidding session. This is an instant messaging with multi-participant period with a duration of One Hour. besides as being a advanced communication tools, It is also designed so the customer can finally chose a bid. The listing will terminate when this period ends. Therfore, the customer must chose a bid pr he/she has to relist his/her item. During that period, you are able to chat to your potential customer live along with other participant. To enter the Live Bidding session when it activates, go to the listing main page, scroll to the bottom and click the “Live Bidding” button. That will automatically direct you to the Live Bidding page. Again, remember that in order for you to be a live session participant, you must have registered for that listing. We recommend for you to do so early. Also, during the Live Bidding Session, we ask you to observe all the communication rules as stated in the ubidNship’s User Agreement.
